The painter is inspired here by jazz concerts on the peristyle of the Opéra de Lyon. The concert is broadcast on screen. Two friends observe each other in the foreground. They listen to and observe each other while listening to music and having a drink. On the ground the reflections vibrate to the rhythm of the percussions. As often, the artist accompanies his work with a text in rebound: "In the gray of the screens of memory, on the long bare zinc of the black nights tied with cantabile notes the evening offers its subtle sounds. Strange rays of light shine through the tables of their mystery. Dark and brown waterspouts, bass drums under the moon, pierced eardrums and percussions, the hour is for the great transgressions. The divine sound whimsical slams its staccatos against the masks and colors the soul and the wine of the sadness of the divine. The tablecloths are bloodied with coppery and haunted golden noises. "
